 
        
        For one of our clients we are currently looking for a Teamlead Metrology & Equipment Lifecycle.
Location: Basel
Contract: unlimited
Tasks:
 * Design and optimize end-to-end metrology processes to ensure laboratory operations are efficient, compliant, and scalable.
 * Lead, manage, and grow a high-performing team dedicated to metrology.
 * Oversee the entire lifecycle of laboratory equipment, including onboarding, qualification, maintenance, modifications, and eventual decommissioning.
 * Develop standardized procedures and documentation for laboratory equipment across all units.
 * Ensure all metrology activities adhere to GMP standards and regulatory requirements.
 * Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., labs, QA, IT, procurement) and external service providers to streamline processes.
 * Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, focusing on equipment management and calibration routines.
 * Act as the primary metrology representative during audits and regulatory inspections.
 * Track key performance indicators and manage resources to ensure the team operates effectively and can scale as needed.
Requirements:
 * A degree in engineering, life sciences, or a related field – significant hands-on experience in metrology or equipment lifecycle management may also be considered.
 * Demonstrated expertise in managing the lifecycle of laboratory equipment.
 * Proven leadership experience, ideally in matrix or cross-functional team environments.
 * In-depth knowledge of metrology processes, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
 * Strong organizational and communication skills.
 * A strategic thinker with a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
 * Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
