Overview
Eco Caminhos aims to be a role model in Brasil and beyond for a sustainable and happy lifestyle. We live in harmony with nature, produce our own food and energy, and build land wealth and beauty. We treat our own waste, generate our own electricity, and share knowledge with others. Our example should encourage others to step away from the consuming world. We follow the essences of permaculture, agroforestry, and bio-construction.
Eco Caminhos is a permaculture farm in Nova Friburgo, Brazil. We produce much of our own food, energy, and building materials. We are currently working on incorporating coffee production into our agroforestry systems and building one of the biggest natural buildings in Latin America, the Ecolibrium Space.
At the farm we follow permaculture principles and you can learn about and practice bioconstruction (natural building) and agroforestry (syntropic farming). In your free time you can share a healthy meal, enjoy a campfire, go hiking, refresh in our backyard waterfall, or spend quality time with the other volunteers.

* The Ecolibrium Association was created to further social and educational work at Eco Caminhos farm and beyond. We are just getting started and need a website to elevate our work including:
o Environmental education for children and youth
o Agroforestry training and business development support for farmers
o Vocational training for Brazilians interested in permaculture careers
o Income generation through ecotourism and a farm-to-table restaurant
Requirements
* Excellent web design and development skills
* Experience with WordPress
* Willingness to live simply in a rural area
* Commitment to sustainability
* Desire to learn more about permaculture and natural building
* Language skills in English, Portuguese, and Spanish are desirable
