Job Description
Johnson & Johnson MedTech Orthopaedics are looking for a Marketing Director DPS International Spine, Sports & CMF based in either UK, Switzerland, Singapore, Brazil or Chile.

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone Orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes, and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and inspiring marketing leader to drive all international marketing activities across the DPS Spine, Sports, and CMF portfolios. This role carries end‑to‑end responsibility for shaping strategy, building capabilities, leading teams, supporting new product introductions, and partnering with global and regional stakeholders to deliver business impact across EMEA & APAC.

Overall Responsibilities
The International Marketing Leader is responsible for all marketing activities across the Spine, Sports & CMF businesses, ensuring alignment with global and international strategies. The role focuses on achieving business objectives, deploying differentiated business models, maximizing return on capital, and building organizational capabilities, talent, and culture.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Lead the execution of international strategies for the Spine, Sports & CMF businesses and guide the Marketing team in delivering high‑quality tactical execution.

Develop innovative go‑to‑market strategies for Sports to build scale and leverage existing business footprints.

Represent regional and international needs in product pipeline planning with Global Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain.

Partner with Supply Chain teams to ensure IBP alignment with business objectives.

Build and maintain strong relationships with regional KOLs.

Collaborate with the International Enabling Tech team to plan and roll out VELYS Spine and future technologies.

Support Lighthouse Centre strategy and related initiatives.

Lead NPI planning and launches, partnering with Regulatory, HEMA, and Clinical teams to drive speed to market and comprehensive launch readiness.

Work closely with EMEA & APAC Commercial Leaders and country teams and support management of regional P&Ls for Spine, Sports & CMF.

Partner with Professional Education and Commercial Education teams to deliver education plans that support business strategies.

Champion Health Care Compliance, Quality, and Safety standards across all activities.

Extended Responsibilities

Ensure marketing programs are executed with quality, timeliness, and cost‑effectiveness.

Allocate marketing resources to maximize strategic impact.

Lead communications, research, and public relations activities supporting the strategic plan.

Develop, manage, and monitor annual budgets with strong financial discipline.

Ensure all business activities comply with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required

MBA preferred

Experience Requirements

Extensive leadership experience with a strong track record of business results.

Deep expertise in Orthopedics, ideally Spine or Sports.

Experience leading large, diverse teams and developing talent.

Regional or global experience preferred.

Strong background in market development, value creation, and customer and market insights.
