Overview:
As the HR Manager, you will oversee all human resources functions at the Geneva site. You will serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team and be responsible for managing talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance with Swiss labor laws. You will play a key role in fostering a high-performance culture aligned with corporate values and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead all HR functions at the Geneva facility, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee development.
* Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic HR initiatives that support business growth and innovation.
* Ensure full compliance with Swiss labor laws, health and safety regulations, and international employment standards.
* Support cross-border hiring processes and manage work permits, relocations, and expatriate administration.
* Oversee performance management processes and facilitate talent reviews and succession planning.
* Develop and maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs in line with the local market.
* Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture, ensuring high employee engagement and retention.
* Manage employee relations issues with a fair and balanced approach.
* Support organizational change initiatives and HR projects, including ERP/HCM system implementations.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum 5–8 years of HR experience in a high-tech, manufacturing, or semiconductor environment.
* Deep understanding of Swiss labor law and HR best practices.
* Proven track record in strategic HR business partnering and operational execution.
* Experience working in a multinational or matrixed organization.
* Excellent communication skills in English and French (both written and verbal).
* Proficient in HRIS systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred Qualifications
* HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, Swiss HRSE) is a plus.
* Experience in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma environments.
* Familiarity with semiconductor industry challenges (e.g., skills shortages, global talent acquisition).
