We’re looking for a highly skilled Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to develop state-of-the-art algorithms for GNSS, LEO, and multi-antenna systems. You’ll work alongside world-class experts, pushing the boundaries of positioning performance, resilience, and innovation.
This position can be located in Tampere, FI or Reigate, UK.
Your Responsibilities
Design and develop advanced GNSS signal processing algorithms for:
1. High-precision positioning
2. Spoofing detection and mitigation
3. GNSS diversity antenna integration
4. Multi-constellation, multi-frequency integration
5. LEO and NTN signals for multi-layered positioning
6. Implement and optimize algorithms in Matlab, Python, C, and C++, integrating them into our embedded- and edge-based positioning platforms.
7. Evaluate performance through KPIs, statistical analysis, and benchmarking across different implementations and optimizations.
Your Skills and Experience
8. M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related fields (Computer Science, Physics, Geoinformatics, etc.) with relevant experience.
9. 5+ years working with GNSS technology at the signal processing or embedded system level.
10. Proven DSP algorithm design skills including simulation/coding in Matlab/Python.
11. Competence in embedded software development (C/C++), debugging, testing, and CI workflows.
Bonus
12. Understanding of RF/analog impairments in GNSS or wireless receivers.
13. Strong foundation in wireless PHY layer techniques: detection, acquisition, synchronization, parameter estimation, and tracking.
14. Hands-on experience with SDR hardware (e.g., RTL-SDR, USRP).
15. Familiarity with Git, SVN, Perforce, Jira, or similar tools.
