We strive for efficient and effective operations, and we hold each other accountable for delivering exceptional results. /p pHere, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride. /p h3Software Development Specialist – Automation /h3 h3WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: /h3 ul liDevelop and maintain PLC software (mainly Rockwell Siemens), SCADA, and customized HMI applications. /li liCollaborate with cross‑functional teams, vendors, and plant personnel to ensure successful design, integration, and commissioning of automated equipment. /li liAnalyze controls data to drive continuous improvement and increase equipment efficiency. /li liTroubleshoot automation issues and propose technical improvements for existing systems. /li liConfigure and manage industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Profinet, EtherCAT). /li liSupport robot‑based systems and integration with peripheral devices. /li liPerform machine start‑up, testing, operator training, and on‑site support. /li liTravel up to 40%, both domestically and internationally. /li /ul h3WHAT YOU'LL BRING: /h3 ul liDegree in Mechatronics, Electronic, Biomedical, or Automation Engineering. /li li3–5 years of experience in machine controls and PLC programming; experience in healthcare manufacturing is a plus. /li liStrong knowledge of automation principles, servo systems, electrical/pneumatic design, industrial vision systems, and robot software (Staubli, ABB, Fanuc). /li liFamiliarity with ISO/ANSI/GAMP5 standards and CFR21 Part 11. /li liAbility to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team. /li liEnglish B2 minimum; Italian required for the Campo site. /li /ul h3Equal Employment Opportunity /h3 pBaxter is an equal opportunity employer.
