Description
We are looking for a Product Owner to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. The Product Owner represents customer needs, manages the team backlog, and ensures PeopleSoft‑related deliverables provide maximum value.
Responsibilities
* Define user stories and acceptance criteria
* Manage and prioritize the team backlog
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders and development teams
* Ensure deliverables meet business and mission needs
* Support Agile ceremonies and sprint execution
Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in any field/major, OR three (3) additional years of experience without a degree in Information Technology
* Three (3) years of experience as a SAFe RTE, Product Manager, Product Owner, or Scrum Master
* At least one (1) year of experience specifically as a Product Owner
* Three (3) years of experience working with PeopleSoft
Required Skills
* Experience defining user stories and acceptance criteria
* Ability to manage and prioritize a product/team backlog
* Strong collaboration and communication with stakeholders and development teams
* Hands‑on experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies
Desired Skills
* Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager
Security Clearance
* Must hold an active Top‑Secret clearance, either with an SCI or SCI eligibility
