Supplier Quality Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Manager to drive the quality management of our suppliers globally. This role is crucial in ensuring that our supply chain delivers consistent, high-quality products that meet international standards, customer requirements, and regulatory compliance. You will also act as a lead internal auditor, guaranteeing organizational processes meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a global supplier quality management strategy in collaboration with Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Business Units.
Establish, review, and monitor supplier quality agreements.
Ensure effective deployment of quality requirements across the supply chain.
Oversee SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request) process: root cause analysis, CAPA effectiveness, and timely resolution.
Collaborate with operations, BU, and Supply Chain to select, assess, and qualify new suppliers and products.
Review and approve suppliers’ process changes and PPAP submissions where applicable.
Support supplier risk assessments and monitor production impact to safeguard quality standards.
Set and deploy annual targets for suppliers, subcontractors, and foundries.
Monitor and report suppliers’ quality performance, leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate and conduct supplier audits (VDA 6.3 methodology for automotive suppliers).
Lead internal audits: risk assessment, audit execution, corrective action validation, and system gap reporting.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Engineering degree (Master’s preferred) in Electronics or Microelectronics.
10+ years in microelectronics, including 5+ years in supplier quality management.
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and automotive core tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, APQP).
Familiarity with industry standards: AEC Q100, JEDEC, ZVEI, VDA.
Audit experience (VDA 6.3) and strong understanding of ISO 19011.
Statistical analysis and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of semiconductor product development and manufacturing processes.
Project management experience.
Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills in a multicultural, matrix environment.
Languages: Fluent in English and French; German is a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office; knowledge of statistical tools is a plus.
