Overview Recrutis is supporting an established industrial client in the Valais region of Switzerland (pharma, food or fine chemistry) in the search for a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the modernisation of production lines in a 24/7 process environment.

Scope Lead automation and SCADA modernisation and extension projects
Functional specifications, programming, commissioning and qualification
Coordinate OEMs, integrators and trades on CQV phases
Day-to-day technical support on existing production lines
Apply GAMP5, IEC 62443 and internal OT standards
Required criteria 5-10 years of hands-on industrial automation experience
Operational mastery of Siemens TIA Portal or Rockwell on shop floor
French working level — relocation to Vaud / Valais accepted
Process industry background (pharma, food or fine chemistry)
Strong assets OT cybersecurity / IEC 62443 or hands-on GAMP5
Sterile pharma or aseptic process exposure
German or English technical for multi-site interactions
IT/OT vision and industrial network architecture
