Are you ready to take your career to the next level with a global leader? Givaudan is looking for a Head of Procurement Raw Materials for our Taste & Wellbeing division. As an important member of the Procurement Leadership team, you will help shape our procurement strategies and drive value creation aligned with our Givaudan 2030 strategy.
You will lead a global team of 65 with a clear sourcing strategy, priority setting, and resource optimisation. You will be responsible for a significant spend budget and engage and represent Procurement with important Taste & Wellbeing divisional stakeholders on strategic programmes.
You will be based in our Kemptthal office in Switzerland and report directly to the Chief Procurement & Sustainability Officer.
In this exciting role, you will:
1. Establish joint commitments with the Taste & Wellbeing division, focusing on business impact and winning with customers
2. Develop and validate the annual Procurement plan with the division
3. Align with stakeholders on priorities, sourcing strategies, and timelines
4. Establish a vision that delivers value to the division through a procurement strategy of risk, cost and cash, responsible sourcing, and innovation
Business Partnering:
1. Represent divisional Procurement categories in business review meetings
2. Ensure information flow between the Divisional Management Committee and Procurement category management organisation to meet business and functional strategies
3. Challenge the division and the procurement organisation by understanding the main success factors
4. Establish a stakeholder engagement plan
5. Have good relationships with critical suppliers
Sustainability:
1. Accountability for scope 3 reduction following set targets
2. Support the Responsible Sourcing strategy
3. Set KPIs and goals for team goals to ensure progress
4. Guide the development of category strategies aligned with the global Procurement strategy
5. Monitor achievements against our goals and periodically reassess the targets
