Role Summary
The Regional On The Road (OTR) manager will maximize the OTR operations and Delivery Associate (DA) experience by leveraging operational and stakeholder relationships. They will be the custodian of DSP (Delivery Service Partner) and DA experience at station level, ensuring highest standards around DA engagement and creating a ‘win‑win’ culture between Operations and the DSPs.
The OTR manager will define the medium‑term OTR strategy, lead and influence internal and external stakeholders to align Amazon Delivery Station processes, goals, and strategy with DSPs. They will lead OTR capacity planning, oversee OTR Ramp plans, work closely with the MEU region capacity team and Business Coaches, and ensure DSPs achieve their pool numbers.
Risk identification and contingency planning for peak periods will be critical. The manager will coordinate performance improvements across regions, implement best practices, and place DSP experience at the heart of solutions. They will own regional OTR weekly business reports and partner closely with site Delivery Station Managers and Delivery Ops to improve customer experience.
The role requires flexibility and frequent travel between up to six last‑mile delivery stations and associated nodes. It is field‑based and demands significant on‑site presence.
Key Responsibilities
* Safety: Work with OTR safety and site operations to deliver regional safety metrics.
* Performance: Lead OTR performance improvement across the region and deliver weekly visibility of on‑road performance.
* Experience: Create sustainable business practices that foster a ‘win‑win’ culture between Operations and the DSPs.
* Cost: Collaborate with site operations to ensure routing efficiency and compliance with best practices.
* Capacity Management: Own, deliver, and execute regional resourcing plans (e.g., DA moves, % changes, capacity risk management) and execute the DA Ramp‑up and -down plan.

Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles ‘last mile’ delivery duties in partnership with third‑party distribution businesses. The team uses creative thinking and continuous improvement to deliver millions of products to customers, including Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants. Operations run 24/7, supporting associates who handle night shifts.
We aim to overcome logistics challenges and reduce our carbon footprint through innovative vehicles, including electric vehicles, and technology.
Basic Qualifications
* Degree qualification or equivalent.
* Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement.
* Excellent communication skills (including local language and English, written and verbal).
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience managing projects and/or programs.
* Strong analytical capability; track record of digging into data and finding solutions for a variety of operational problems.
