You will partner with operational teams and Finance Business Controllers, working closely with Managing Directors in Switzerland and Germany. /p pbJob Title: /b Financial Controllerbr/bLocation: /b Baden, Switzerland /p h3What will you do? /h3 h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Statutory Reporting Compliance /h3 ul liPrepare and review Swiss/German statutory financial statements under IFRS/Swiss GAAP. /li liCoordinate year‑end audits and act as the main point of contact for external auditors. /li liSupport local directors in fulfilling their statutory responsibilities. /li liPrepare the monthly, quarterly and annual financial results of the legal entities. /li /ul h3Tax Regulatory Oversight /h3 ul liManage corporation tax provisions and disclosures. /li liPrepare and review VAT returns. /li liDevelop transfer pricing documentation. /li liReview tax balances and ensure accurate accounting treatment. /li liSupport external audits, enquiries, and information requests. /li /ul h3Other Responsibilities /h3 ul liAct as a strong business partner in executing the business strategy. /li liDrive a culture of accountability, simplification, and participate in global harmonization projects. /li liProvide comprehensive project detail analysis for planning, reporting, and risk assessment. /li liParticipate in tender preparation, assess commercial and financial risks, and develop mitigation plans. /li liProduce annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, estimates and other reports requested by Corporate Finance. /li liOversee daily cash management of the legal entity. /li liSecure guarantees and bonds and implement a proper hedging strategy. /li liCoordinate relocation and facility management of office space (real estate strategy). /li liMaintain robust internal controls over financial reporting. /li liEstablish efficient processes for billing, AR, AP, expense claims and payroll with shared service providers. /li liPrepare accounting entries, project cost control reports, financial statements and banking statements. /li liEnsure compliance with company procedures. /li liStay abreast of changes in accounting standards, local regulations and tax laws impacting our entities. /li /ul h3Experience Required /h3 ul liMinimum 10+ years of accounting experience in a project environment. /li liKnowledge of engineering and construction (EC) business. /li liStrong analytical decision‑making and problem‑solving skills; ability to adapt quickly and work under pressure. /li liExperience managing a team. /li liAutonomy, rigor, ethics, flexibility, adaptability, persuasiveness. /li liProficiency in Office Suite; VBA knowledge considered a bonus. /li liExperience with SAP ERP is an asset. /li liExperience with Oracle or Accpac is an asset. /li liExperience with Oracle Hyperion is an asset. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in accounting or finance and/or a Swiss Accounting Certification; CPA title is an asset. /li liUnderstanding of Swiss accounting standards, local tax issues, and IFRS accounting rules for construction contracts. /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liNative‑level German /li liFluent English (negotiation level) /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
