About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Market Manager, where you will be responsible for developing interest and buying potential for our brands in a given geographical area. You will work closely with dealers and internal resources to identify and capitalize on opportunities, ultimately driving sales and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote our products and services, obtain orders on behalf of the company
* Gain an understanding of the local business community, identifying opportunities in regional, national, and local sectors
* Win business against sales and margin targets for all our products within the identified sectors
* Support seminar activities locally
* Involves specialist sales resources where relevant against specific opportunities
* Provide accurate forecasting information for total volume sales by product group and detailed information on specific large projects
* Maintain good working relationships with local dealer personnel, ensuring competence and commitment to our products
* Provide field training for dealer sales personnel in product and positional skills
* Involves other groups as appropriate, such as the Global Enterprise Management team, A&D or Channel Development
* Identify new dealers and develop these opportunities alongside internal Channel Development teams
* Participate in induction training for new personnel and new product training
* Canvas business opportunities in person, identify, qualify, and develop them
* Support and manage additional markets within the Middle East & Africa as required
About You
* You have a business degree or equivalent
* You have successful sales experience of at least 3 years
* You have experience working for a multinational organization
* You are knowledgeable in forecasting and planning
* You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* You are well-organized with good time management skills
* You enjoy teamwork but also work independently
* You are flexible to work long hours when required and undertake travel throughout the region
* You have high literacy in the use of IT systems
* You are numerate in the preparation of quotations and forecast information
* You have cultural awareness and have travelled extensively
* You are a quick learner
* You can show initiative and creativity
