Meet the Manager with whom you could work:Yuliya Zvolskaya - Engineering Manager -LinkedInAt a high level, you will:Lead the evolution of our Real Estate frontend architecture to support future requirements, defining and improving SLAs/SLOs and anticipating ripple effects across systems together with other senior engineers and principalsDesign and create shared frontend libraries, components and tooling ( design system, performance tooling) that are widely used by internal teams, focusing on pragmatic, reusable solutions and driving their adoptionOrchestrate multi-system refactors and migrations ( framework upgrades, cross-product harmonisation), breaking them down into digestible, plannable pieces and coordinating with engineers, product, and other stakeholdersAct as a go-to person across teams and locations for frontend topics, influencing how we build web experiences across the Real Estate organisationMentor and coach other engineers through structured mentorship, pairing, and feedback, helping them grow their skills and closing skill gaps you observe in the organisation.Model healthy feedback culture, helping people navigate tough conversations and conflicts in a constructive, blameless wayChallenge and improve team and cross-team processes, suggesting changes that improve focus, quality, and speed when neededYou’ll still write plenty of code, but your impact will be measured just as much by how you multiply the effectiveness of others as by your individual output.Your day-to-dayYou'll be part of a regular product team, splitting time about half and half between product delivery and staff responsibilities depending on the current needs and prioritiesInnovate, design, implement, and deploy frontend-focused engineering solutions for our Real Estate products, from discovery to productionOwn the end-to-end technical vision for key user journeys like Homegate and Immoscout24 and more, with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, UX quality, and reliabilityLead cross-team frontend initiatives (for example: shared design system improvements, cross-brand UI harmonisation, performance budgets, or observability patterns).Identify and surface cross-cutting technical bottlenecks, such as performance drags in the core user journeyIdentify and surface cross-cutting technical bottlenecks, such as performance drags in core user journeys or build-time inefficiencies, and advocate for their resolution at the leadership levelCollaborate closely with Product, Design, and other engineering teams to shape technical strategy and trade-offs for new features and platform workPartner with DevX to co-develop engineering 'blueprints' and health scorecards, setting the gold standard for what 'good' looks like in our frontend repositoriesEvaluate, prototype, and introduce new frontend technologies and approaches (frameworks, tooling, patterns), document your findings, and drive adoption where they make senseOwn and evolve the Frontend ADR process, ensuring technical decisions are documented, socialized, and consistently implemented across the Real Estate organizationGuide and review the work of other engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and informal coachingHelp the team embrace and leverage AI & large language models in our engineering workflows and productsContribute to and facilitate guilds, tech chats, and other cross-team knowledge-sharing formatsPromote a culture of high-quality engineering: testing, monitoring with Datadog, observability, security, and operational excellenceOur Tech StackYou’ll work primarily on the frontend, while collaborating with fullstack and backend engineers:Frontend: mainly and some React j4id10232714a j4it0625a j4iy26a
