Head of FP&A and Controlling, EMEA
Reports to: CFO
Location: EMEA
We are looking for an experienced and business-driven Head of FP&A and Controlling, EMEA to lead financial planning, reporting, controlling, and performance management across the region.
In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to the business, supporting leadership with financial insights, forecasting, and analysis while driving financial control, operational efficiency, and business performance.
This is a key leadership role for a highly analytical finance professional with strong business acumen and hands‑on experience in financial planning and controlling within an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the monthly financial reporting process
* Analyze and report financial performance versus Budget and Business Plan
* Prepare material and insights for leadership and management reviews
* Coordinate the annual budgeting process across Sales, Operations, IT, and HR/Admin
* Manage and update rolling monthly cash flow forecasts
* Maintain and update the Business Plan when required
* Perform ad hoc financial analysis and strategic evaluations
* Identify and implement improvements in ERP systems and reporting structures
* Develop and monitor KPIs and financial metrics aligned with strategic priorities
* Provide insights into spending trends, cost optimization initiatives, and margin improvement opportunities
* Prepare and evaluate business cases for investments and strategic initiatives
* Lead construction project forecasting and controlling for the group
* Oversee credit control processes
* Act as NetSuite superuser and support system optimization initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
* Minimum 10 years of experience within Finance, FP&A, Controlling, or Financial Management
* Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting in an international business environment
* Strong understanding of financial trends, business performance drivers, and market dynamics
* Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial statistics, and relevant regulations
* Experience leading and supporting teams and cross‑functional stakeholders
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with a proactive mindset
* Experience with Oracle NetSuite is highly valued
* Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
