A Day in the Life
Medtronic is hiring a Senior Product Engineer responsible for advancing existing technology. In this role, you will formulate, deliver, and manage projects in collaboration with other stakeholders to achieve desired results.
You will act as a mentor to colleagues and may direct the work of other lower-level professionals.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
* Provide production support for implantable defibrillator and pacemaker products that are already on the market.
* Lead investigations into advanced mechanical and electrical issues related to manufacturing.
* Manage assessments and projects related to supplier changes, productivity improvements, and cost reductions.
* Plan, execute, and report activities to the Project Management Office (PMO).
* Conduct activities such as Engineering Technical Reports, Installation Qualifications, Test Method Validations, and Operational Performance Qualifications.
* Prepare and manage documentation, as well as oversee change control reviews and approvals, in collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Design, Quality, Regulatory, and Reliability teams across different regions.
Required knowledge and experience
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in electrotechnical, with a minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience within the MedTech industry.
* Strong knowledge of process management, along with solid experience in change control and validation.
* Fluency in both English and French.
* Team spirit and experience in collaborating with stakeholders at different levels.
* Pragmatic and hands-on approach with a growth and business-oriented mindset.
* Excellent communication skills aimed at complex stakeholder management.
