As an Account Manager in Engine Services, you will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple customer accounts, execution of the relevant contractual obligations for maintenance services in Zurich, starting with the coordination for an engine induction slot until finishing of the shop visit and engine serviceability, and achieving the company’s revenue and P&L targets for the respective customer account in coordination with Product Management and Sales. You will maintain, develop, and expand the customer relationship, coordinate customer visits (on site in ZRH or at the customer’s facilities), and communicate on commercial, engine TAT, and parts exchange topics during engine shop visits, triggering internal and external escalation as required.
Working with an extensive network of partners and business development offices in Europe, the USA, Asia and the Middle East, we offer comprehensive, fully customized solutions for the Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul of aircraft engines, airframes and components sales, including technical support to over 500 customers worldwide.
Responsibilities
* Take P&L responsibility of assigned customer accounts and provide recommendations to the Head of Account Management, VP Commercial and Head of Business Unit.
* Participate in contract handover meetings with Product Management and identify and analyze contractual risks and initiate mitigation actions.
* Be the main point of contact for the customer, handle and process customer feedback, and organize and coordinate customer review meetings.
* Lead kick-off meetings for a new engine shop visit, coordinate with Ops Project Lead, Engineering, and Purchasing, and provide accurate engine delivery information to induction slot planning.
* Organize and coordinate Table Inspections with the customer.
* Communicate commercial and TAT related topics during a shop visit and ensure on-time delivery (OTD) of an engine.
* Offer part replacements and exchanges, and communicate on the financial aspects of such replacements/exchanges to the customer.
* Initiate and coordinate Closing-the-Loop review meetings after engine shop visits and feed back into the organization.
* Ensure profitability of the shop visit within contractual boundaries.
* Issue Preliminary Invoices based on shop visit price estimation and perform invoice reviews for Main/Final Invoices at the end of a shop visit.
* Build and release accruals for volume discounts/incentives, marketing/agency fees, TAT penalties, warranty risks, and potential invoice disputes.
* Resolve and settle invoice disputes with customers.
* Lead and support the cash collection process with involvement of Sales.
Qualifications
* Commercial or Technical degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 3 years of commercial or/and technical experience in the MRO industry.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-facing position in the MRO industry.
* Strong understanding of the MRO or related Aerospace business.
* Strong business acumen and contract understanding.
* Strong communications, negotiations and intercultural awareness skills.
* Fluency in English.
