Overview
Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Logistics Production & Warehousing Integrations, Process and Data Lead to join the LOGISTICS TEMPLATE team within the Innovative Medicine Transcend Program. In this role you will act as a senior individual contributor and matrix leader, supporting the modernization and harmonization of production logistics, manufacturing warehousing, and inventory management capabilities. You will help enable a single, standardized ERP landscape, strengthening a future‑ready digital backbone for Clinical and Advanced Therapies operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Template Design & Ownership: Design and evolve assigned domains within the Global Logistics Production & IM Integrations Template; shape SAP-enabled solutions supporting production logistics, manufacturing warehousing, distribution and inventory management; translate business needs into standardized, scalable, and compliant designs aligned with template principals; ensure solutions support data integrity, traceability, and inspection readiness.
* Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with JJT (Digital & Technology) and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, end-to-end logistics solutions; act as a logistics subject-matter expert for Logistics IM/WM integrations such as MES, eLIMS, WCS, ICSM, TM, GTS, etc.
* Deployment & Change Support: Support deployment teams to ensure consistent adoption of global logistics standards across regions and sites; provide expert guidance to resolve complex issues and assess change requests; contribute to site readiness and go-live activities, ensuring compliance with GxP and validation requirements.
* Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, usability, and data quality across production and warehouse execution; promote best practices and system integration; maintain alignment with regulatory, compliance, and data governance standards.
* Leadership & Governance: Lead assigned logistics design workstreams or capability areas within established governance; partner with peers across the broader IM Transcend ecosystem to drive aligned outcomes; provide recommendations and expert input to governance forums to support final design approvals; foster an inclusive, collaborative, and transparent way of working; influence outcomes through expertise and partnership, rather than formal authority.
Qualifications
Education
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
* Preferred fields: Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related disciplines
Experience & Skills
* 8–10 years of experience in production logistics, manufacturing warehousing, or inventory management within a regulated pharmaceutical environment
* Hands-on expertise with SAP S/4HANA and/or ECC6 Inventory Management and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
* Strong understanding of logistics best practices
* Experience contributing to global process templates or large-scale system transformations
* Proven ability to collaborate and influence in global, matrixed environments
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Clear, effective communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups
* Comfort working in evolving transformation programs
* Commitment to ethical decision-making and inclusive leadership
* Fluency in English (written and spoken)
* Willingness to travel internationally as required
Preferred Skills
* Experience in global or regional transformation initiatives
* Understanding of end-to-end processes across Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Finance, and Master Data
* Exposure to R&D or Advanced Therapies production logistics environments
* Familiarity with Agile ways of working and tools such as JIRA or Smartsheet
