Real Learning for Real Impact. /p pTo reinforce our team, we are looking for a /p h3Alumni Engagement and Board Lead /h3 h3The Job's Mission /h3 pThe Alumni Engagement and Board Lead supports and drives the day‑to‑day functioning of the IMD Alumni Association Board, working in close partnership with the Chair to translate strategic direction into sustained action. The role ensures continuity, follow‑through, and coherence between board meetings, operating at the intersection of governance, alumni engagement, and institutional coordination. /p h3Key Activities Accountabilities /h3 pBoard and Chair Support /p ul liServe as the primary operational liaison between the Chair and Alumni and Development Team /li liDraft agendas, manage meeting logistics, prepare board packs and finalise board minutes /li liManage board expense reimbursements and related record‑keeping /li /ul pWorking Group and Volunteer Leadership Support /p ul liSchedule meetings, document discussions, and track actions to completion /li liMaintain ongoing contact with working group leads between meetings /li liOnboard new working group members and board‑connected volunteers /li liCoordinate across working groups to align priorities and avoid duplication /li /ul pAlumni Engagement and Communications /p ul liManage membership communications (onboarding, renewals, targeted campaigns) /li liLead event communications from invitation through follow‑up and evaluation /li liManage the alumni support inbox and respond to day‑to‑day enquiries /li liSupport capture and sharing of alumni stories with the data and impact team /li /ul pDigital Learning and Special Events /p ul liTake operational responsibility for Discovery Days and other flagship initiatives by coordinating with stakeholders and managing timelines, registrations, communications, and follow‑up /li liSupport digital learning offers in collaboration with IMD faculty, career development, clubs, and communities /li liCo‑create scalable alumni learning journeys leveraging volunteer and alumni expertise /li /ul h3Education Experience /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Public Relations or equivalent /li li5 years of professional experience in a related field. /li /ul h3Competencies /h3 ul liStrong organisational and coordination skills, with rigorous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. /li liDemonstrated experience supporting boards, governance bodies, or senior leadership /li liExcellent written communication skills, including drafting of board papers, presentations, briefing notes, minutes, and stakeholder correspondence. /li liExcellent presentation skills and verbal communications /li liComfort with digital platforms for communication, event management, and engagement tracking /li liFamiliarity with alumni engagement, membership organisations, or higher education institutional contexts. /li liOutstanding written and oral communication skills in English (preferably English mother tongue).
