Overview
This role is responsible for conducting bench‑scale and pilot testing to advance the company’s separation process technologies. You will apply advanced chemical engineering principles to innovate, optimize, and scale separation processes within the Test Center while managing complex projects and collaborating closely with technicians, engineers, sales, and R&D teams.
Responsibilities
* Planning and executing customer test activities
* Carrying out internal test projects to support the development and optimization of process technologies
* Supporting modifications, upgrades, and improvements of test units within the test center
* Contributing to the implementation of safety, environmental, and waste‑treatment measures
* Building, maintaining, and expanding the know‑how required for the above responsibilities
* Participating in customer project meetings
Qualifications
* A university degree or equivalent qualification in process or chemical engineering
* At least 5 years of relevant experience in thermal separation technologies (e.g., distillation, evaporation, extraction, crystallization)
* A team‑oriented mindset combined with a hands‑on working style
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
* A problem‑solving attitude and the capability to develop practical technical solutions
* A customer‑focused approach paired with strong analytical abilities
* Very good proficiency in English and German
