Duties and Responsibilities
As Guest Experience Maker (GEM), assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following areas:
Check guest profiles and guest history prior to arrival and be familiar with all information.
Notify concerned departments of guest arrivals and ensure they have the guests' history and preferences before arrival.
Coordinate with departments for transfer requests and assist guests with transfers to and from the hotel if required.
Prepare all arrival amenities such as welcome letter, champagne, shoe bag, cold towels, and welcome drinks.
Offer welcome drink and cold towel upon arrival.
Escort guests throughout the resort.
Recommend, plan, schedule, and arrange activities based on guest preferences during their stay.
Maintain knowledge of fire & safety procedures and exits.
Upsell resort, spa, LIFE, and restaurant facilities.
Ensure all departmental equipment is clean and in good working condition.
Uphold Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation, maintaining and exceeding performance benchmarks.
Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of experience in a similar hotel operational role. A hospitality diploma or degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
Technical skills include proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with hotel systems such as POS, PMS, and CRM platforms.
Excellent knowledge of guest services and functions.
Fluent in English and French.
European or Swiss passport.
