Umanova is a Swiss professional services company with an innovative and future-oriented approach to consulting, providing outstanding conditions. For our international customer in Geneva, we are looking to hire a few experienced IT Support Specialists.
Key Deliverables: In line with the organization's objectives and business needs, provide functional and technical support in the Workplace Services area.
Core Responsibilities: Manage Incidents, Problems, and Service Requests.
Provide physical IMAC support for hardware.
Log incidents received via phone, email, or other communication channels.
Offer workarounds and solutions based on Service Level Objectives.
Report/escalate issues during Problem Management to the Service Desk Coordinator/Manager.
Recommend IM&T Services modifications to reduce user impact.
Participate in IM&T Service testing, deployment, and stabilization.
Maintain current knowledge of evolving Information Technology.
Contribute to continuous improvement and communication efforts.
Update and acknowledge logged tickets and communicate resolution progress.
Provide basic end-user training on workplace services.
Ensure satisfactory customer service and prompt response times.
Share support knowledge with team peers and maintain documentation.
Escalate significant issues or outages.
Develop and maintain good working relationships, resolve problems, and positively influence customer satisfaction.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft-based operating systems.
General knowledge of IT infrastructure: LAN, WAN, Windows servers, Active Directory.
Good knowledge of hardware (PCs, printers, scanners, smartphones).
Basic knowledge of SAP (accounts, printing).
ITIL qualification is preferable but not essential.
Knowledge of business processes.

Negotiation skills.
Ability to manage priorities.
Primary Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of IT (workstations, servers, networks, Windows).
Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support within medium to large organizations.
Experience with IT support ticketing systems.
ITIL certification.
Native fluency in French; English proficiency is a plus.
