This local function is part of the Technology Europe Product Development Group and reports to the Testing Team Technology Manager. /ppAs a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a wide range of RD and commercial projects, acting as the testing expert for both electrical and physical testing of plastics. Apply today! /b /ppbRole Responsibilities /bb: /b /ppbAs an Engineer Measurement Technology, you will: /b /pliTest of plastics in mainly electrical but also physical testing areas accurate and on time /liliSupport associates (Technology, Marketing, etc.) and other Huntsman sites in projects related to RD and commercial products/samples as testing expert /liliPrepare specimens to be tested with mechanical manufacturing processes (diamond saw, etc.) /liliDevelop innovative testing methods /liliImplement new testing standards (IEC, ISO, etc.) /liliAssist of trainees with technical guidance /liliEnsure Accurate documentation of test results according to our ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation using common software as MS Office /liliTest administration with our laboratory information management system (LIMS) /liliEnsuring full compliance with safety, health and environmental guidelines according to site and company standards (active participation to safety meetings and periodic safety improvement plans). /lipbExperience and Competencies: /b /ppbWe are looking for experienced candidates with initiative, able to build relationship and having a solution-focused approach. /b /ppbWhat we are looking for: /b /pliA bachelor’s or master’s degree (at least Techniker-Schule, Höhere Fachschule, BUT, etc.) in electrical and/or electrotechnical domains: Electrical engineering and industrial computing, High-frequency metrology, etc. /liliMinimum about 8-10 years’ experience in high‑frequency technical fields, complemented by solid knowledge of high‑voltage testing /liliFundamental knowledge on programming environment ensuring efficient measurement analysis and results (VEE, LabVIEW, Python, Excel Macro) /liliProven ability in Electrical qualification to carry out electrical testing /liliSolid qualifications in manual work dealing with machine environment and their maintenance and repair as well as solid understanding in metrology and new technologies /liliFluent in English and German (written verbal), other language an asset /lipbWhat next? /b /ppIf you would like to join an innovative, collaborative, and multicultural team, please apply now via our Huntsman Career Home Page.
