We are seeking an experienced lawyer to lead our employment law team and provide strategic advice on global employment matters. The ideal candidate will possess excellent commercial, employment, and managerial skills to build a dedicated function providing legal support to various stakeholders globally.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Establishing a new dedicated function to provide legal advice and support on employment matters.
* Building and managing a small central team of employment lawyers.
* Working closely with external law firms to support the global business.
* Drafting and advising on employment-related agreements and policies globally.
* Managing employment law aspects of employee data subject requests.
* Identifying potential legal risks in employment practices and providing strategic mitigation advice.
The ideal candidate will have:
* At least 10 years of post-admission experience as a lawyer at a reputable law firm or as in-house counsel.
* Strong knowledge of global employment regulations.
* Strong leadership and managerial skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organisation and external stakeholders.
* Innovative thinking and ability to make decisions independently.
* Collaborative team player experienced at working with cross-functional teams across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
