Join us in shaping the journey toward a sustainable future for flight. Our Emission Measurement team is looking for a new member as a technical cornerstone of both laboratory and field campaigns. In this role you will maintain and evolve our world‑class infrastructure, grow as a specialist, and directly shape the future of green aviation.
School: School of Engineering
Starting date: 1 July 2026. The position is a one‑year fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
* Manage and operate advanced emission measurement equipment.
* Automate and streamline existing workflows and technical equipment.
* Participate in high‑stakes measurement campaigns at SR Technics and field missions.
* Supervise and support student laboratory initiatives and research projects.
Qualifications
* Recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Chemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Strong scientific mindset with hands‑on engineering skills.
* Ability to maintain, automate, and improve measurement infrastructure in laboratory settings.
* Data‑analysis skills and organizational capability to manage complex field‑campaign logistics.
* Excellent communication, responsibility, and proactivity within a team‑oriented environment.
* Fluency in German and English; valid Driver’s License (Category B) for field operations.
