* Develop and test tools and algorithms for the detection and annotation of genomic variants
* Improve the efficiency, reproducibility, and scalability of our development processes
* Expand the testing and documentation coverage of existing tools and algorithms
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
* A Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Human Genetics, or a related field
* Proficiency in Python, Git, and Bash programming languages
* Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments, bioinformatics workflows, parallelization, and containerization (Docker)
* Effective communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment
* Ability to adapt to fast-paced, dynamic settings with flexibility to prioritize tasks
