Job Description
Join our team as a Senior Site Specialist for the daily logistics of laboratory and production consumables at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., and play a leading role in delivering world-class customer service. This full-time role in Stein offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate Inventory: Lead all aspects of inventory, from placing orders of agreed and new products to ensuring goods are available at various points of use, strictly meeting demand.
Coordinate the receipt of goods: Conduct quality checks and ensure accurate documentation. Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects using appropriate tools.
Logistics and Supply Chain: Coordinate supply chain activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials.
Forecasting: Use forecasting techniques to determine future inventory needs and adjust orders accordingly.
ERP System Utilization: Implement and maintain data within our ERP system, ULS-IM (Unity Lab Services Inventory Manager), to track and manage inventory and supplies.
Qualifications
Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, and supply chain operations.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory and logistics management.
Familiarity with ERP systems and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Proactive problem-solving skills to identify challenges and implement solutions.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team, customer-focused and flexible.
Languages: Professional proficiency in Swiss German and English.
