Sales & Events Manager Job Description
As Sales & Events Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the S&E department to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards. My key role is to identify prospective customers and establish goals for key accounts by analyzing historical and other statistical information for market segment, account mix goals, etc.
The duties and responsibilities will include:
1. Assist customers with all inquiries and follow up correspondence to ensure bookings and verify VIPs' daily arrivals to ensure priority room assignment and room amenities delivery.
2. Research competitors for management and maintain trace files for follow-up on leads.
3. Be responsible for the execution of the Banquet Event Orders for accuracy and quality.
4. Be responsible for maximizing profits in sales of food, beverage, and space.
5. Develop sales promotion ideas in conjunction with the Director of Sales & EAM Commercial.
6. Assist in maintaining banquet, food, and beverage costs for highest profit.
7. Focus on revenue generation and profile building for our resort, spa, and Six Senses.
8. Assess marketing strategies and tactics regularly to remain relevant and effective.
9. Promote a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.
10. Operate the property in compliance with all legal, statutory, and financial requirements, including documentation, reporting systems, contractual obligations, security and safety protocols, communication standards, product and service standards, host management practices, and budgetary controls to ensure successful hotel operations.
