Key Responsibilities
* Lead RFx activities and vendor selection during early project phases and execution
* Partner with internal stakeholders to understand short- and long-term business requirements
* Develop, refine, and implement the laboratory equipment category strategy in line with market capabilities
* Align procurement priorities with engineering, project teams, and other key stakeholders
* Define and deliver cost optimization initiatives supporting project and business objectives
* Challenge established sourcing approaches to drive productivity and efficiency improvements
* Manage supplier relationships and development initiatives to secure reliable supply and long-term value
* Monitor supplier performance, compliance, and accountability using defined KPIs
* Serve as the escalation point for project-related supplier or customer issues
* Support issue resolution in collaboration with contracts and claims stakeholders
* Define supply risk management approaches and ensure mitigation plans are executed
* Translate category strategies into actionable project procurement plans
* Negotiate equipment purchase agreements and framework agreements with suppliers
* Lead complex commercial negotiations for major supply and master agreements
