We are looking for a new community member:
TEST LEAD
As Test Lead, you are an integral part of the software development teams working very closely with software engineers but also part of the SQC community of practice (around 30 people worldwide), contributing to global change via community initiatives and putting your skills and experience at the service of other Test Leads as well as benefitting from their support and from continuous learning and exchanges.
ROLE
As part of the team and if the community:
1. Ensure that software development teams apply the Testing Methodology (SOP)
2. Collaborate with software development teams to ensure product and solution quality at every stage of the development process.
3. Test continuously the solution to detect bugs as soon as possible
4. Review product design documentation to ensure that the requirements stated are correct, unambiguous and verifiable
5. Define test plans, design test cases, execute and create test reports to describe programme evaluation, testing and correction
6. Report bugs according to guidelines, make sure that the defect tracking system is always updated
7. Use quality and tracking tools to trace the progress of the job Jira.
8. Maintain effective communication with assigned projects and development teams
9. Ensure all automated tests integrate with continuous integration and delivery processes.
10. Test automation skills (Java/Selenium or playwright/Postman)
11. Monitor regularly the automation results and diagnose the failures.
12. Automate the test cases and maintain the automation updated.
As project/product test lead:
13. Define and maintain test strategy
14. Identify areas for improvement in test processes and propose solutions to increase efficiency and quality
15. Provide Management with a valid and unambiguous status of the project from a quality point of view
16. Analyze time required and project impact based on time and test coverage estimation
17. Ensure that Quality gates (unit test, quality code, etc) are implemented.
PROFILE
18. Demonstrated experience in Test automation (preference with Java + Playwright or selenium) and manual testing
19. Experience with GIT.
20. Experience testing microseriveces
21. Minimum 5 years in solution quality assurance role
22. Experience/Knowledge in version control and release management is a plus
23. Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or information technology or equivalent education
24. Certified ISQTB
25. Logical, precise, with strong analytical and problem solving skills
26. Results oriented, goal driven personality
27. Ability to prioritize and work independently
28. Coordination, communication and reporting skills
29. Self-starter highly organized and works well with all functional levels in the organization
30. Fluent in English
