As Business Development Manager, you will be the bridge between market demand and optical innovation: spotting trends before they peak, uncovering fresh use-cases for our current portfolio, shaping the roadmap for next-generation products, and partnering with our sales team to turn opportunities into sustainable growth. Tasks
1. Strategic development of Optotune’s business in laser applications
2. Acquisition of new customers worldwide
3. Market research & definition of new products
4. Creation of sales & training materials, business plans and go-to-market strategies
5. Content creation for marketing materials
6. Participation in trade shows
Requirements
7. Must have technical background (MSc or equivalent)
8. At least 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in optics/photonics
9. Experience in management consulting advantageous
10. Ability to identify new customers, build up & maintain relationships
11. Ability to understand customers' technical requirements and suggest solutions
12. Passion for technology & innovation, winning personality, well organized, autonomous and prepared to travel internationally
13. Excellent knowledge of English, good knowledge of German, other languages advantageous
14. Good working knowledge in MS Office applications
