Our client is seeking an experienced Software Tech Lead to strengthen their PCR Software Development team in Zug. In this role, you will lead the design and development of embedded software solutions and user interfaces that power advanced Molecular Diagnostics systems. Working in a global, cross-functional environment, you will combine technical leadership with hands‑on development to enable accurate, reliable, and timely diagnostic results for laboratories worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders (Product Owners, Architects, System Engineers) to translate complex business and customer needs into robust technical solutions
Design and develop high‑quality embedded software solutions that meet regulatory and system quality requirements (performance, scalability, reliability, maintainability)
Lead by example in software engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing strategies, and continuous integration
Mentor and guide team members, fostering technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement
Support agile development processes and promote effective collaboration across teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Software Development or Embedded Systems Engineering
Strong expertise in React and proven experience developing embedded user interfaces using Rust, C++, or similar languages
Experience with Electron or Tauri is a strong advantage
Solid problem‑solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical challenges
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross‑functional, international teams
Experience working in a regulated environment is a plus
Fluent English is required
