A well-established Swiss company with a long-standing reputation in technical consumer goods is seeking a dynamic and autonomous Sales Representative to support its growth in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with retail and professional customers in the assigned territory, reporting directly to the Country Sales Manager Switzerland. This position requires sales and business development activities with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
Your Key Responsibilities
Visit and maintain relationships with existing clients while identifying and developing new customer opportunities in the region
Execute the company’s commercial and marketing strategies at the local level
Actively promote the brand by organizing and participating in trade shows, regional events, and training sessions
Support merchandising efforts and ensure optimal product presence at the point of sale
Report regularly on market trends, client feedback, and competitor activity to the Swiss Sales Manager
Train and support retail partners and relevant institutions (e.g., agricultural and landscaping schools)
Your Profile
Proven experience in sales or account management, ideally in technical products, tools, or similar sectors
Strong presentation and communication skills, with a service-oriented approach
Flawless Swiss-German or German, with good command of French and/or English
Comfortable working independently and managing a field-based role
Based in Zurich or Central Switzerland region
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly (approx. 4 days per week in the field)
Solid IT skills (MS Office, CRM systems); experience with ERP or BI tools is a plus
Experience in sectors such as landscaping, viticulture, arboriculture, or agriculture is an advantage
