Overview
The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in defining the business strategy, vision, and roadmap to achieve commercial targets and enhance the brand\'s image and reputation. This role leads the team on a day-to-day basis, drives sales, profitability, and client satisfaction, and ensures a well-organized store environment while fostering a cohesive team dynamic.
Job Responsibilities
* Business Development: Support the Store Manager in developing and implementing store-specific strategies aligned with the overarching vision and business objectives.
* Business analytics: Contribute to the analysis and elaboration of sales figures, KPIs and objectives.
* Action plans: Support the execution of action plans based on the market calendar.
* Merchandising: Support the execution of Store merchandising guidelines.
* Market awareness: Be aware of the competitive landscape and market trends.
* Networking: Develop relationships with other Store Managers to optimize business opportunities and client experience.
* Clienteling and relationships: Help implement clienteling strategies to gather and utilize client feedback effectively, driving continuous improvement and enhancing client satisfaction, and establishing long-term relationships to build client loyalty.
* Customer experience: Ensure the highest level of client experience is consistently provided, creating a memorable and personalized experience for every client.
* Store Operations and Management Support: Assist the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth floor management and efficient functioning of the store.
* Policy adherence: Support the implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures to maintain a consistent brand experience across all locations.
* Environment: Help maintain a well-organized, clean, and visually appealing store environment to attract and retain clients.
* Team Management and Development: Collaborate with the Store Manager in building, leading, and developing a high-performing store team.
* Coaching and growth: Provide support in coaching, training, and performance management to enhance team members\' growth and success within the store.
* On-floor presence: Actively present on the floor and develop the middle management team to ensure they deliver the operational activities for their own departments.
* Sales and Profitability: Work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales performance and profitability by achieving store sales targets and optimizing store layout.
* Budget discipline: Assist in monitoring and controlling store expenses to ensure adherence to the budget and maximize profitability.
* Store Manager Absence Coverage: Act as the primary point of contact and assume responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring continuity and seamless management.
Profile
* Min 7 years experience as Manager in a retail environment
* Experience in the luxury industry
* Solid people management skills
* Strong business and sales acumen
* Fluent French and English
