IT Operations Support
Beznau, Switzerland | On-site | Long-term contract
Our client, a leading organization in the energy sector, is looking for an experienced IT Operations Support Specialist to strengthen their on-site team in Beznau. This is a long-term contract role requiring a strong on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide user support for applications and process-related issues.
* Record, classify, and track incidents, service requests, and change requests in the ITSM tool (e.g. Jira).
* Troubleshoot and resolve standard issues; escalate complex cases to 2nd level support or responsible teams.
* Monitor system alerts and error messages, initiating corrective measures as needed.
* Keep users informed about outages, maintenance, and operational updates.
* Support and train internal staff, external employees, and suppliers in the correct use of applications and tools.
* Maintain and update operational documentation and knowledge base content.
* Create and adapt reports to support fault analysis and process optimization.
* Assist with authorization management (e.g. access approvals).
* Conduct functional testing and quality assurance for new features.
* Provide operational support for applications including Beeline, DocuSign, and in-house developed systems.
* Document meeting minutes and track action items.
Your Profile
* Proven experience in IT support / IT operations roles.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
* Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g. Jira).
* Experience with software testing, reporting, and system monitoring.
* Knowledge of applications such as Beeline, DocuSign, or similar is an advantage.
* Excellent communication skills with both technical teams and end users.
* Fluency in German & English is a MUST, both written and spoken.
* Structured, proactive, and detail-oriented working style.
* On-site availability in Beznau; long-term commitment preferred.
