In this context, we wish to strengthen our Software Quality & Delivery team by recruiting a Quality & FinOps Manager (m/f/x) - 80-100%, whose central mission will be to raise the technical and operational maturity level of our application teams.
Faced with constantly evolving information systems, mastering technical debt and application excellence have become strategic challenges. You will be the guarantor of a structured and sustainable approach to software quality by leading high-impact cross-functional initiatives.
The tasks awaiting you:
Define and formalise a global strategy to reduce technical debt in line with business priorities and team constraints
Identify, qualify and prioritise components of technical debt across the entire application portfolio and propose measurable action plans
Build and maintain a clear and up-to-date application obsolescence roadmap, covering all applications and technologies (frameworks, libraries, languages, systems, platforms, ...)
Ensure the implementation and integration of the FinOps framework within the company’s Cloud practices
Manage application decommissioning phases in coordination with technical and business stakeholders
Ensure the effective adoption of these processes within application teams by removing obstacles and adapting approaches to each team’s context
Support teams as a coach and quality referent by leading training, awareness, and feedback sessions
Define and monitor quality and technical debt KPIs and report them to management during follow-up meetings
Lead regular cross-functional committees with application teams and governance bodies to maintain alignment on quality objectives
Ensure technical coordination in partnership with the technical project manager to align quality, deadlines, and delivery objectives
Your profile:
Higher education in computer science such as HES, Bachelor / Master, EPFL
At least 5 years of proven experience in a role related to software quality or technical management
Mastery of implementing the FinOps framework in a company, certified by the FinOps Certified Professional certification
Proven experience managing complex application environments and leading modernisation programmes
Expertise in technical debt, obsolescence, and refactoring challenges in sizeable information systems
Good knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, code analysis tools (SonarQube), and agile practices (Scrum)
Ability to build and lead quality dashboards and decision-oriented KPIs
Solid understanding of service-oriented architectures, application security issues, and the software lifecycle
Natural leadership and ability to unite multidisciplinary teams around common goals
Excellent communication and simplification skills, both with technical teams and management
Rigor, organisational skills, and results orientation
Initiative, autonomy, and proactivity to continuously improve existing practices
Good command of French and English, both written and spoken
