The Role
Our client, leading industrial group in the Lugano area, is looking for an experienced SAP Developer to join an established and cross-functional team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP development and familiarity with SAP technologies such as Fiori/UI5 and embedded suites. This is a great opportunity to contribute to long-term digital transformation projects in the logistics and finance domains.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test and implement SAP solutions to support business processes
Work across different SAP modules, with a focus on Logistics (MM/SD/WM) and Finance (FI/CO)
Develop custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms and workflows using ABAP
Design and implement modern user interfaces with SAP Fiori/UI5
Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other Developers to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and deployment
Support existing applications and perform bug fixing and performance tuning
Ensure technical documentation is up to date and follow development best practices
Requirements
4+ years of proven experience in SAP application development
Strong expertise in ABAP programming, including OO ABAP
Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 and related frameworks
Familiarity with embedded analytics and S/4HANA environments is a strong plus
Good knowledge of SAP modules related to Logistics and Finance (e.g., MM, SD, FI, CO)
Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team-oriented environment
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Fluent Italian (must-have) and good English skills (written and spoken)
Availability to work onsite in the Lugano/Chiasso area, with some flexibility
