For one of our clients, an Asset Manager based in Geneva, we are looking for a:
* Preparation of the annual budget and long-term plan that supports the Group's long term strategy and monitor performance to plan
* Establishment of the monthly management accounts, including analysis of variances versus previous year and budget, establishment and tracking of KPIs
* Monitor the Private Equity fees and AUM to build forecast, rolling, budget and 3Y plan, working closely with Private Equity fund controllers and products heads
* Develop tools with the Operating platform, to report on clients, performance and AUMs
* Manage the monthly group financial close process including preparing the group consolidation to deliver quality financial reports in accordance with established timetables
* Maintain accurate and complete financial records for the consolidated financial statements of Swiss entities Follow, valuate and monitor globally the investment portfolio of the Group in close collaboration with management and operation team
* Update and oversee implementation of departmental policies and procedures to efficiently enhance data quality, consistency and availability
* Further develop the IT tools and reports for the controlling function
* Participate in the implementation of the new accounting system
* Develop together with the IT Finance manager dashboards, reports and analysis for senior management
* Improve the timeliness and quality of information delivered to various departments
Required profile
* University degree or equivalent in finance or economics
* 10 years of experience in controlling/MIS in the financial services industry, especially alternative asset management and private equity
* Management experience in an international environment
* Strong analytical skills to help to spot trends or exceptions quickly
* Good knowledge of Swiss GAAP and IFRS
* Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
