To support their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Legal Counsel to join their legal team.
Key Responsibilities
* Independently advising and supporting the operating divisions in all construction law matters as part of interdisciplinary cooperation with other staff units
* Comprehensive legal support for construction projects
* Drafting and reviewing contracts (in particular real estate purchase contracts, contracts for work and services, project development contracts, rental contracts, property law contracts, orders)
* Independently handling legal cases in construction and public procurement law
* Independently conducting contract and settlement negotiations
* Representing the company before state courts and authorities
* Managing external lawyers
* Additional tasks: Regulatory / Compliance Advisory functions
Your profile
* Completed university studies in Switzerland (lic. iur./MLaw) with Swiss license to practice law
* 4-6 years of professional experience as a lawyer and/or legal counsel, preferably with experience in construction law and real-estate law
* Assertiveness and negotiating skills
* Strong communication and team skills
* Quick grasp of complex issues, a high degree of pragmatism, solution orientation and the ability to communicate possible solutions briefly and comprehensibly to non-lawyers
* Independent, speedy and careful way of working
* High level of commitment and ability to work under pressure
* Fluent in French and English; proficiency in German is a plus
