The Role
We are looking for an expert in business development, customer relationships, marketing and sales to join our Thermal Testing Team. We develop Thermal Test Solutions for our data center customers and their suppliers, who need a high-precision test environment for product calibration and characterization. We have an engineering team developing and designing Test Emulation platforms (Therminator) and Thermal Test Vehicles (TTVs), and we will extend relationships toward growing existing and new customers.
Your role is essential for team success as the face to our customers, serving as the first point of contact, collecting requirements for feature enhancements, change requests, complaints or new orders with timelines, and aligning them with the engineering team. You will work out and provide quotes for our products based on customer requests, manage the assessment process, purchase order placement, and delivery. You will also attract new customers at exhibitions where we present our products, and manage the new customer interface on our website by providing product information and collecting application needs.
You may travel to existing or new customers with product demonstrators, primarily located in North America, Europe and Asia.
With success in presenting and selling Thermal Testing products, you contribute directly to Corintis goals and revenue. As a Business Development & Sales expert, you will be responsible for building the sales funnel and achieving high customer satisfaction. You will report to the head of the Thermal Testing BU and collaborate with the engineering team and the Program Managers & Directors of the cold plate business group.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead engagement with external customers by marketing Corintis Thermal Testing products
* Generate quotes, follow up with customers, and process Purchase Orders with a high success rate
* Align internal and external customer requests with the engineering team to guide feature requirements
* Collaborate with Program Managers, Directors of the cold plate business, software development group and High Volume Manufacturing Experts to identify support opportunities
* Provide monthly readouts to leadership on external customer engagements, business outlook and selling success rate
* Travel to exhibitions and conferences to promote and sell products
Key Deliverables and Areas of Ownership
* Ownership of product and marketing slides
* Calculation and summary of expected revenue outlook and maintenance of the customer funnel
* Negotiation of sales prices with customers based on target margins and volumes
* Drive NDA processes with new customers as necessary

Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience in technical business development, preferably in electronic components, cooling systems or equivalent
* Experience in a high-tech environment with technical experts
* Proven ability to negotiate contracts and sell high-value products
* Strong analytical skills to understand customer needs and provide solution paths
* Ability to travel unrestricted to and within USA, Canada and Europe
* Fluent English
* Willing to work four days a week in the office when not traveling on business
* Spending the first three months mainly at our headquarters in Lausanne if you are located in another office
