Export Freight Forwarder Job Description
We are seeking an experienced export freight forwarder to join our team. As part of the development of our activities, this role involves managing and monitoring export shipments, ensuring compliance with deadlines, customs requirements, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and monitor export shipments from start to finish
* Maintain accurate records of shipment details
* Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
* Liaise with clients, carriers, airlines/ship companies, and foreign agents as required
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation logistics or trade, with at least 7 years' experience working as an export freight forwarder. They should be proficient in Incoterms customs formalities language: French; English proficiency is essential (B2 level), German knowledge may be beneficial depending on location context.
