Our Global Sales Suppport (GSS) is responsible for handling customer claims and leading associated problem-solving activities, like root cause investigations, corrective actions, etc. This activity requires a strong technical affinity and interest as well as good commercial sense and high levels of customer orientation. Due to GF's continued growth, we are looking to fill a newly created role in one of these teams.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the primary contact for key customers in high-priority and technically complex claims cases
* Conduct in-depth technical root cause analyses of product failures, using structured problem-solving methods and industry standards
* Conduct hands-on technical examinations to identify and verify product failure causes
* Prepare clear, technically accurate, and customer-focused reports in German or English, suitable for both technical experts and non-technical stakeholders
* Collaborate closely with R&D, Product Management, Operations/Plants, and Quality to drive effective resolutions and implement robust preventive measures
* Provide on-site technical support to sales companies and customers for complex or escalated claims
* Lead technical knowledge sharing and training on claim handling processes, investigation techniques, and prevention strategies across the company
Your profile
* Higher education in a relevant field (technical or commercial)
* At least 4-5 years of experience in a similar function, combining technical expertise with customer relationship management
* Excellent social skills (teamplayer), ability to effectively communicate with a big variety of functions and stakeholders with different seniorities and technical understanding, inside and outside of the company
* Resilience and perseverance, ability to remain calm under pressure and manage sensitive and complex situations
* Fluent English and German required, other languages are a plus
