Spanish Speaking Nanny Needed in Swiss Household
We are seeking a responsible and warm Spanish-speaking junior nanny to care for two young daughters in a lovely family living in a residential area near Kreuzlingen, Switzerland.
The proposed schedule is 25–30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with live-in accommodation provided. The nanny will work mornings from 7:00 to 9:00 am to help prepare the children for school and daycare, then drop them off. After tidying up and doing light household tasks, the nanny will have free time until midday. Weekends are free, and you are also off on Wednesday and Friday mornings.
The family values punctuality, responsibility, reliability, and clear communication. They offer a private room and bathroom and are willing to pay for additional hours if needed.
The ideal candidate will love spending time with young children, enjoy outdoor activities such as visiting parks and playgrounds, and have fun engaging with them. A gentle parenting approach is required, and the nanny must be able to speak fluent Spanish, good English, and German.
Key Responsibilities:
* Caring for two young daughters (ages 7 and 2) in a loving and supportive environment
* Preparing the children for school and daycare, including getting them ready for their daily activities
* Dropping the children off at school and daycare
* Having free time until midday to rest or pursue personal interests
* Picking up the children from school and daycare and caring for them until 5:00 pm
* Tidying up and doing light household tasks
Requirements:
* Warm, easy-going, and kind personality
* Gentle parenting approach
* Non-smoking position
* Strong communication skills able to speak fluent Spanish, good English, and German
* Plenty of experience caring for children, with the ability to plan engaging, age-appropriate activities
* Patient and creative in engaging young children, introducing games, and spending time outdoors
* Physically active and enjoys outdoor activities
* Flexible and adaptable to the family's schedule
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to maintain a clean and organized personal space
* Ability to work collaboratively with parents when they are present at home
* Up to date Clean criminal background check
* Full driving licence and able to drive locally
* Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
* Right to work in Switzerland (EU or Swiss passport)
* Good references for recent and relevant nanny work
* Childcare qualifications
* Able to run after and lift small children
