To fuel and sustain growth, we are seeking a Global Head of Product Technology Transfers (TT) who will be responsible for leading and guiding global activities related to new product implementation into manufacturing sites, as well as within commercial manufacturing sites.
The Global Head of Technology Transfer will oversee TT activities within Galderma manufacturing sites and CMO business. The global head will act as the business process owner for TT (business process, tools, deliverables) and lead a matrix organization of tech transfer leads at each manufacturing site to ensure appropriate leadership, oversight, communication, and stage gates are applied across all modalities (Consumer health, aesthetics, pharma).
Key Responsibilities
This position leads a matrix team of Tech Transfer Leads at different sites (receiving sites), evaluates and plans the overall TT schedule and resources in close alignment with the Leadership Team. Provides global technical and business leadership for technology transfers of new product introductions into manufacturing facilities or transfer of existing processes across sites. Defines and owns the business process for TT, including deliverables, tools, and standards used across all sites and teams to track progress, report risks, and manage stakeholders. Participates as a member of the MS&T Leadership Team, operating at an enterprise level on behalf of the MS&T organization. Organizes and conducts Stage Gate Reviews for TT, tracks key performance indicators, and develops the overall TT strategy with Technical Platform Leads, seeking stakeholder and leadership endorsement. Also assesses facility fit as needed, working with TT Leads and Site Platform SMEs in the MS&T local team.
Skills & Qualifications
* BSc or MSc in a related scientific discipline such as chemical engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, pharmaceutical engineering, or biotechnology.
* Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry in process technology scale-up, transfer, validation of new or existing products, either as a subject matter expert or tech transfer lead.
* 2-5 years of experience as a Project Manager or Matrix Leader of a cross-functional team with people leadership experience (direct or indirect).
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Project Management / PMP certification is a plus.
