To strengthen our finance team at our Flawil location, we are looking for a Controller m/w
What You’ll Do:
Lead financial accounting and reporting (monthly/quarterly/year-end close, US GAAP, management reports, reconciliations)
Ensure compliance, internal controls, and coordination of audits, tax, VAT, and regulatory requirements
Oversee cost controlling and manufacturing finance (inventory, standard costing, variance analysis, capex support)
Drive forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning with actionable financial insights
Act as key finance partner to plant management and support operational decision‑making
Lead collaboration across teams and support finance projects (e.g., ERP and process improvements)
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
5–10 years of progressive accounting / controlling experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally international
Strong knowledge of local statutory reporting and US GAAP
Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central
Advanced Excel skills; ability to analyze and explain complex financial data
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
Strong attention to detail and a structured approach, combined with a proactive and pragmatic business partnering mindset, independent working style, and high integrity with sound professional judgment.
