We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen brigade. As the right hand to our Head Chef, you'll play a vital role in leading kitchen operations, inspiring the team, and ensuring every dish meets our high standards of quality and creativity.
More specifically, responsibilities will include the following :
* Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
* Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring smooth service
* Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
* Assist with menu planning, inventory, and food cost control
* Step in to lead the kitchen during Head Chef’s absence
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
The skills we are looking for are :
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
* Passion for food and a keen eye for detail
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
* Strong understanding of kitchen operations, stock management, and cost control
* Culinary qualifications or relevant experience
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills by using their outgoing personality to interact with guests, employees, and others.
