For a Client company, a leader in the production of special coatings for the tooling industry we are searching for a:
Sales Manager – Tooling
Objective
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Candidate will be responsible for business development in French-speaking Switzerland, German-speaking Switzerland, France and Germany, in accordance with the company's policy and strategy.
Main Responsibilities
* develop new customers and business opportunities by identifying potential markets and strategic partners;
* carry out up-selling activities on the existing customer portfolio, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and loyalty;
* collaborate with Management to define sales strategies and growth targets;
* plan and manage regular customer visits, promoting customized solutions;
* ensure the achievement of revenue and margin targets defined by the company;
* carry out forecasting and reporting activities for Management;
* collaborate with the Technical Department to create tailor-made proposals for Customers;
* negotiate contractual terms in agreement with the Sales Management;
* collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure that contractual specifications are fulfilled according to the planned timing and methods;
* attend trade fairs and industry events.
Position Requirements
* Degree in STEM disciplines;
* at least 5 years' experience in sales roles within the tooling or special coatings sector;
* technical expertise in machining and in the use of CNC machine tools (milling and turning);
* customer portfolio;
* knowledge of the target market, especially Medical and Aerospace, and competitors;
* ability to understand Customer needs and provide consultative support;
* strong commercial drive and results orientation;
* excellent negotiation and planning skills;
* excellent command of English and German and/or French;
* proactivity, energy and self-motivation.
