About the Role
As a Kindergarten Assistant, you support the teaching team in creating a caring, structured and stimulating learning environment for young children within a bilingual setting. Working closely with the class teacher, you play an important role in the day‑to‑day life of the classroom, supporting children during learning activities, play and daily routines. You help ensure that children feel safe, confident and well‑cared for, while encouraging their social, emotional and early academic development. Through positive interactions, you promote independence, cooperation and respectful behaviour. You observe children’s development and share relevant feedback with the teacher to support individual needs. You also contribute to a positive classroom atmosphere, work collaboratively within the Early Years team and represent the school warmly and professionally to parents. Children’s wellbeing, safety and safeguarding are at the heart of everything you do. This is a permanent, part‑time (50%) role.
Who We Are Looking For
* You have a warm, patient and caring approach when working with young children.
* You hold a childcare or Early Years qualification, or have equivalent practical experience.
* You have experience working in a kindergarten, daycare or school setting.
* You are well organised, reliable and enjoy working as part of a team.
* You communicate confidently in English; basic German skills are an advantage.
* You are able to follow guidance while working proactively.
* You have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
* Experience in an international or bilingual environment is beneficial.
