Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and people-focused professional to be the main contact for our service vans and support the Logistics and Operations team in their daily tasks. You should thrive on details, communicate effectively, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ideal candidates will have a few years of experience in operations, purchasing, sales, or logistics, preferably within the bike or sports industry, with a practical, people-first approach.
Main Tasks Logistics
* Sorting EU Logistics inbox and prioritizing tasks by color flags
* Executing Product Transfers
* Communicating shipping instructions to external vendors / Century
* Forwarding shipping documents and filing them appropriately
* Monitoring shipping errors
* Updating CE Declarations of Conformity annually
Main Tasks for Operations
* Monitoring data accuracy in Oracle ERP system
* Analyzing and reviewing cost data for accuracy, including pricing issues
* Maintaining price lists as a backup
Requirements
* People-oriented with a commercial education and at least 2 years of experience in operations, purchasing, sales, or logistics in the bike or sports industry
* Excellent social, communication, and networking skills
* Strong business understanding with analytical and planning skills
* Responsible, proactive, and able to remain calm and patient in hectic situations
* Fluent in English; German and other languages are a plus
* Proficient in IT tools (MS Office, especially Excel, ERP systems like Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, or SAP)
* Passion for cycling and the Specialized brand
* EU or Swiss work permit depending on location
