Your Purpose
Explora Journeys is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, European luxury brand, imagined in the heart of Swiss hospitality in Geneva. Leveraging our parent company MSC Group's hundreds of years of maritime expertise, our fleet of six luxury ships (four currently in the pipeline) are being built and designed in a totally different and unique way that will transform and redefine the cruise experience, creating a category of its own, appealing to the next generation of luxury travellers.
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a skilled Sales Operations Professional to join Explora Journeys. Become a key member of the Global Sales Operations team, where you will lead, enhance, and implement processes to drive sales excellence, elevate the brand experience, and maximize profitability. This role is based in
Hoofddorp, the Netherlands

Your Impact
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer in Explora Journeys, the Manager of E-Commerce B2B:
• Drives MSC Cruises B2B digital sales strategy, enhancing online presence and automation, and expanding cruise reachability within the B2B cruise industry in order to maximize revenue, build strong partnerships, and enhance the overall customer experience for our Travel agents B2B clients.
• Oversees B2B proprietary stores in a unique platform that travel agents, in different countries, use to book cruise for their clients (ETAC) and develop/maintain and drive Family & Friends website made for private sales to our employees, close family and friends.
• Manages B2B not proprietary channels mainly OTA's and the GDS digital technology partners collecting partner needs and define requirements for the improvements of the API layer and the cruise cache.
• Is the global point of reference for local markets to all B2B digital questions and support them to decline the local sales strategy in the different B2B digital channels.
• Works closely with:
The revenue department to display in a comprehensive way all the itineraries, prices and fare rules.
The commercial services to apply all the commercial rules at corporate and local level.
The contact centre department to understand and reduce the most frequent travel agent calls increasing self-service and automation.
The corporate and local trade marketing department to maintain the ETAC travel agent portal up to date with the last product information and trade digital tools.
The digital technology department to plan and budget ETAC evolution and ensure that the channel have the correct capacity to manage the business needs.
The IT technology department to plan and budget for API and Cache evolution.
• Data Analytics, A/B Testing & CRO digital platform: Utilize data analytics, a/b testing approach and conversion rate optimization platform to make informed decisions, track KPIs, and identify areas for the UX and platform improvement.
• Partnership Development: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with online travel agencies, Cruise technology partner (GDS) and other B2B stakeholders to expand our global distribution network.
• Manage the GDS global partnership with a commercial contract in place (like Amadeus) and the related booking fees budget.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the ecommerce budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve business objectives.
• Compliance: Stay up to date with industry regulations and ensure that the ecommerce platform adheres to legal and compliance standards.
Your Journey so far
Minimum of 10 years of experience in e-commerce and digital marketing with a track record of success in the B2B digital sales.
Master / Bachelor's degree in Information Science, E-Commerce, Digital Marketing with advanced certification in this related field.

• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
• Deep understanding of the cruise industry or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, tools, and technologies.
• Knowledge of API and Cache logics
• Creative and strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset.
• Results-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
